Nishantam by Tranquille Experiential Living Mussoorie

The Challenge


Nishantam Mussoorie is a heritage property which was renovated in 2021 and converted into a homestay. Tranquille Experiential Living, a homestay management company, took on the management of the homestay and partnered with CCS Marketing Services to handle the OTA Management functions.  Being a recently launched homestay, the challenge was to create awareness of the property to ensure business.


Our Approach


After listing the property on all OTA's, we planned out the pricing strategy. We kept the pricing low to start with to attract interest in the property.  We highlighted the heritage nature of the property through the content on OTA's as well as social media marketing.  The room categories were also named to showcase the heritage properties. The location of the property near the Mall Road also made it an attractive destination for the guests as it was close to the Mall Road yet accessible by taxi or private vehicle.  


The Result


Over the course of the year, we were able to grow the online business substantially through proper pricing strategies and promotions.  Unfortunately, due to management and owner issues, the property was shut down after just one year of operations after which the owner decided to undertake renovations of the property.
