THE LOCATION:

Lansdowne is a hill station in Uttarakhand.  Founded as a military garrison in 1887 under the British Raj, Lansdowne still maintains its old colonial charm.  With a large expanse of lush greenery surrounded by the Himalayas,  Lansdowne is perched at a height of 1,700 mtrs. Today, it is the headquarters of the Garhwal Rifles.

Chametha is a scenic, mountainous area located in Uttarakhand, often visited for its proximity to Lansdowne and the Khoh River. It offers a peaceful retreat with options for riverside homestays, providing views of the valley and mountains. Popular nearby attractions include Tip-in-Top Point, Bhulla Tal Lake, and the Darwan Singh Museum.
