THE LOCATION:

Lagoa is a city in the district of Faro in the Portuguese region of Algarve. With a population of just over 22,000, Lagoa is a popular tourist destination with beautiful beaches that make it an attractive area during the summer months. Apart from the beaches, Lagoa also hosts an exhibition every year and has a Portuguese wine region. Tourists can also visit the heritage buildings which have been well maintained.

A family-run property, Casa da Fe is a villa located in the heart of the city of Lagoa. Casa da Fé is a completely renovated townhouse spread over 2 floors with a lovely terrace having a plunge pool. The house is furnished with beautiful design elements and every comfort. and offers luxury and comfort for a relaxing stay with family or friends. The villa is equipped with modern furniture, minimalist elements, accents with Arabic and Portuguese influences and beautfiul designer lighting.

Spread over two floors, Casa da Fé will spoil you with carefully chosen details… Extremely comfortable sofas in the living room, a designer kitchen with all modern appliances, and ensuite bathrooms with wonderful rain showers and bathrobes. With 3 bedrooms, Casa da Fé can accommodate 6 guests. One of the bedrooms, even has an extra outdoor shower.

The pampering continues outside: There is a beautiful terrace on the ground floor with a plunge pool with two luxurious sunbeds for refreshment and tranquility.

Casa da Fe offers 3 spacious and comfortable bedrooms with attached bathrooms. The rooms are air-conditioned.

There are two ensuite bedrooms on the first floor, both with a double bed (160x200cm) and an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. One of these rooms also has a private outdoor shower

A staircase up takes you to a kind of mezzanine where the third bedroom is created with a double bed (160x200cm) and an ensuite bathroom equipped with a toilet, double sink, bathtub/shower.

Lagoa is known for its beautiful beaches, such as Praia da Marinha (8km). Not far away (6 km) is the lovely village of Carvoeiro, which also has some attractive beaches such as the small Playa do Carvoeiro (7 km), and Praia do Vale Centeanes (8 km). Albandeira Beach (12 km) is lapped by clear waters and is one of the best places to watch the sunset. Don't miss the Alfanzina lighthouse, beautifully situated on a hilltop and one of the best places to visit around Carvoeiro.

Another interesting place to visit is Ferragudo (9km), a nice fishing village that has kept its character. The streets offer a picturesque view with their white houses.

Silves (9km) is a historic town with beautiful sights such as the impressive XII-century castle Castelo dos Mouros, the old cathedral, the archaeological museum, the municipal market, the city garden, and of course, the river Arade.

Golf enthusiasts will find several golf courses nearby, and walkers should hike the well-known “Percurso dos Sete Vales Suspensos”, a wonderful walking path along the coast with breathtaking sea views.

Just 2 kilometers away is the Slide & Splash water park, an ideal place for a day of water fun with the kids. The nearby Sand City (4 km) is also a nice outing, here, you will find no less than 90 hand-made sand sculptures of various famous places (and people) around the world.
